Melanie, Stephen and Bryne

What a fantastic engagement shoot in Brooklyn Bridge Park we had on November 9, 2008. The day was a cool 50's and everyone was so great to work with dealing with the coolness of the Fall weather.

Melanie along with her fiance, Stephen and her son Bryne made a memorable day in the park which is a wonderful location shoot with the Brooklyn Bridge on one side and the Manhattan Bridge on the other. It's a wonderful time of year and above all free of charge without permits.

Stephen is in the United States Army and just got home for this event dealing with jet lag. Melanie told me that they both were considering getting married in the New York City or a location destination. Since he just got back, they were still undecided, so she booked us for their engagement shoot for the first step not knowing if Stephen would be sent to Iraq in May, 2009.

We had such great fun and they were wonderful together as a couple and family. Bryne is only 10 years old and he was terrific considering the shoot was 2 hours long. He would join us for family photos and then go and play on the swings or run in the park.

Engagement shoots are really key to get to know your clients and see if they really love the way you work and personality. They were very happy and had their engagement party a week later. Everyone loved their photos as much as they did!

So, our next step is their wedding in Key West, FL on March 23, 2009 and we are very excited!!
They were so wonderful to work with and we can only imagine their wedding on the beach in FL.
It will be spectacular and cannot wait to post their photos!
